About Col Williams

Col is a Black, non-binary, womanist and art activist. They love to use their illustrations to promote social justice and awareness as well as to center Blackness. Their comic, Why Saying “Cracker” Isn’t the Same As Using the N-Word, written by Mia Mckenzie, has been published on BlackGirlDangerous with over 1.2k shares. In early 2015, they exhibited at Lesley University and at the Boston State House displaying their piece, Hands Up, Rise Up, a poster dedicated and influenced by the murder of Mike Brown. They are currently interning at Intelligent Mischief as illustrator for the Black Body Survival Guide.
